Taylor series let you replace a nasty function with a polynomial — the foundation of almost every approximation in quant finance (Black-Scholes expansions, Greeks, perturbation methods).

Find the Taylor series of $f(x)=\ln (1+x)$ about $x=0$ up to and including the $x^4$ term. State the general term and the radius of convergence.
